Luck or Small Miracle?
I raced around the house getting things done before taking the train into the city.
I knew I needed to pack the umbrella and I told myself not to forget. Then I got distracted with another chore and the dog. Just as I got to the train station I realized I'd left the umbrella on the chair at home.
The weather radar showed rain was seconds away. I didn't have a choice if I was going to make the meeting, so I kept going.
The clouds looked like they were going burst above me as I walked the five minutes from the lot to the train.
The sky let loose in a torrential downpour just as I stepped under the station awning. Call it what you will...I choose to believe that I witnessed a small miracle.
